The charitable endeavors we are involved in allow us to prove our belief that people are more important than dollars.

Charity is one of the core values Jeff Arnette founded Progressive with. The industry we work in is one of rebuilding hope and our skills as clinicians position us to help others. It's this reality that causes us to take our work seriously and seek opportunities to reach even further, taking prosthetic and orthotic care to people and places without the care they need to regain mobility.

We have enjoyed several opportunities to carry out this vision on small and large scales. Several of our practitioners have able to give their time to prosthetic missions. As a company, we have been able to partner with charitable organizations on larger scale initiatives. In all cases, we have the joy of helping men and women get back on their feet.

Project Nigeria: Prosthetic care for victims of crisis

Nigeria has been in the headlines recently over terrorist violence. Christians in Nigeria have been victims of attacks by terrorists using machetes and guns, and dozens of churches have been bombed. In the wake of this violence, many have not been able to receive proper care for wounds and have experienced limb loss as a result. There is very little to no prosthetic care available in Nigeria.
Since January 2013, we have been able to set up a prosthetic clinic in Nigeria and treat dozens of victims as well as local amputees not involved in the terrorism crisis. We are also training a small group of Nigerians to be able to provide skilled prosthetic care locally.
We are also able to re-purpose used prosthetic components, donated prosthetic components are appreciated and often tax deductible. We have partnered with a church for the purpose. Donations can be dropped off at any Progressive Prosthetics location, or sent to:

Standing With Hope: Prosthetics for the people of Ghana

One of our practitioners has been able to help provide prosthetics to individuals in the underserved population of Ghana. While there are five prosthetic facilities in Ghana, they are mostly outdated and due to travel and availability most amputees are unable to receive services.
Our practitioner has worked with Standing With Hope, a prosthetic charity organization started by Gracie Rosenberger, a double amputee, and her husband Peter. Standing with Hope has partnered with the Ministry of Health to provide training for practitioners and technicians at the Ghanaian Health Services National Prosthetic Center in Accra, Ghana while also sharing their faith in Christ. Our practitioner was able to form relationships with the clinical staff of prosthetists and technicians and provide training for improved patient care and fabrication techniques.
